Dear friends and colleagues, It is with immense pleasure that we welcome you, to "Practice changing updates in hematology: Treatment Sequencing insights from ASH® 2023, EHA 2024, ASCO® 2024". The scientific programme offers a selection of the latest advances in hematology and cutting-edge educational sessions with world experts. It will also provide a unique opportunity to share local data , real world experiences and challenges of developing countries. The event is organized by Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre(AFBMTC), located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Established in 2001, AFBMTC is the only dedicated transplant centre of the country performing over 150 allogeneic transplants per year. AFBMTC is also the only centre of Pakistan to have a cellular therapy programme and an in house mesenchymal stem cell culture facility since 2015. Director Stem Cell Transplantation at St George's hospital and Medical School, London, UK "Dr Mickey Koh received his medical degree in Singapore and all his subsequent specialist Haematology training including his FRCPath, MRCP and PhD in London. He holds several joint positions. Dr Koh is the Head of Haematology at St George’s Hospital and Medical School, London, UK. He is also the Programme Director of the Stem Cell Transplant Programme and heads the haematology teaching curriculum of the medical school at St George’s Hospital. At the same time, he is the Programme and Medical Director of the Academic Cell Therapy Programme in Singapore involved in cell therapy trials across haemato-oncology and regenerative medicine. He has an advisor to the Ministry of Health, Singapore on matters related to cell therapy. He was previously the Deputy Director of the National Blood Service in Singapore. Dr Koh is currently the Chairperson of the Cell Therapy Working Party at International Society Blood Transfusion (ISBT) and the Secratary of the Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (WBMT), a WHO-affiliated organisation. He is a past Board member of the International Society of Cellular Therapy Therapy and was Vice President of the ISCT Presidential Task force on Unproven Therapies. "
